High strength: The spherical graphite structure reduces stress concentration, improves tensile strength and yield strength. The tensile strength of ductile iron can reach 60k, while the tensile strength of ordinary gray cast iron is only 31k.
Good ductility: Ductile iron has a higher elongation than ordinary cast iron, can withstand certain deformations, and has better impact resistance and ductility.
Wear resistance and earthquake resistance: Graphite particles disperse stress, making ductile iron have good wear resistance and shock absorption performance.
