Production process of precision castings
The production process of precision castings usually includes steps such as mold design, mold manufacturing, pouring, cleaning and processing, quality inspection, etc. Among them, mold design and manufacturing are key links that directly affect the quality and accuracy of castings. Common precision casting methods include investment casting, die casting, injection molding, lost wax casting, and metal sand casting.
Investment casting: It is a traditional method for manufacturing high-precision and high-quality metal parts, suitable for producing parts with stable shape and size, and high surface quality.
Die casting: Pressing metal into a mold under high pressure to produce castings with accurate shape and size, commonly used in the production of automotive parts.
Injection molding: Molten metal is injected into a mold under high pressure, rapidly cooled and solidified to form high-precision casting technology, suitable for producing small and medium-sized castings.
Lost wax casting: Casting castings by coating ceramic and ceramic powder on wax molds, suitable for manufacturing castings with complex internal structures and high external precision.
Metal sand casting: Using casting alloys as raw materials, sand cores or sand molds are made, and after pouring metal liquids, high-precision and high-quality castings are obtained.
