Production process flow
Spheroidizing treatment
Adding rare earth magnesium alloy nodulizer to the molten iron can transform graphite from flaky to spherical shape, reducing the fracturing effect on the matrix.
Inoculation treatment
Adding ferrosilicon inoculant can refine the size of graphite nodules, increase the number of nodules per unit area, and enhance both strength and toughness.
Casting Process
Centrifugal casting: used for producing pipe fittings (such as municipal water supply pipes), with dense structure and strong pressure resistance.
Sand casting: including processes such as clay sand, resin sand, and precoated sand, which can accommodate different batch sizes and precision requirements.
Lost foam casting: suitable for complex structural components, with high dimensional accuracy and small machining allowance.Quality control
Strictly control the sulfur and phosphorus content (sulfur ≤ 0.02%) to avoid the formation of inclusions; maintain the temperature of the molten iron 30-50°C higher than that of gray cast iron to ensure the stability of spheroidization.
